BLACK BEAN & CORN BURGER


 BLACK BEAN & CORN BURGER
 
I found this recipe online and wanted to try it out. Since I've became a vegetarian, I've been buying black bean burgers from different brands. But, I wanted to stop buying so much from per-made food, and start making it myself. Like how I was doing before vegetarian  (bv).

This recipe is meant to make 4 burgers. Though, you can make more, smaller ones, or less, bigger ones. Your choice.




Ingredients:
15oz can of black beans. Drained & Rinsed
1/2 cup cooked brown rice
1 cup corn
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 egg
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs






Instructions:
In a bowl, add beans, rice, corn, egg, and seasoning.
Mash together.
Add bread crumbs. Then mix again.
Shape into patties.
Add oil or spray to pan and heat to medium.
Add patties to pan.
Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.



Add whatever toppings you like and DONE!
