Stop Drinking Your Calories
Orange Juice with Breakfast.
Starbucks on your break.
Sweetened Ice Tea with Lunch.
Beer with Dinner.
If
you're someone who is trying to lose some weight, what you're drinking
on a daily basis may cause you problems with reaching your goals.
1 bottle of Pepsi is 250 calories.
1 bottle of Gatorade is 130 calories.
1 Cup or Orange Juice is 110
1 Cup of Whole Milk is 140
1 Beer is 150
1 Margarita is 150
1 Dunkin Donuts Coolata is 400
As
you see, those calories really start to add up throughout the day.
Having a couple of these everyday can lead to an added 4-5-600 calories a
day. This is especially important if you're looking to drop some
pounds.
The
basic equation is 1 pound equals about 3500 calories. Divide by 7 days,
and that equals 500 calories a day. 500 calories that you could be
wasting by drinking unnecessary beverages.
You
could be losing weight right now! All you would have to do is cut out
those 2 sodas you have a day. Or pass on the Frappachino every morning.
That's
it! We're not even talking about your actual food. Or getting in more
exercise. Replacing your drink choices can lead to major changes in your
weight loss journey.
Now, what to replace it with? How about..... WATER! All 0 calories of it! Or coffee! About 1 calorie. Find
a low calorie creamer (some are 20 calories a serving) and you're good.
Almond milk is only 30 calories, with sweetened being only about 60
calories.
The
start of you losing weight can be as simple as changing what you drink
everyday. Make smart choices. I will never say you can't have something
you like occasionally, but know that your body and your goals will pay
for it.
